Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy – BYOU Media •⁠ ⁠A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. •⁠ ⁠Dates are not held without a deposit. •⁠ ⁠The remaining balance must be paid on or before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. •⁠ ⁠For wedding bookings, full payment is required at least 7 days prior to the event. ⸻ Cancellations & Rescheduling •⁠ ⁠All payments made are non-refundable. •⁠ ⁠Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service. •⁠ ⁠Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested in advance. •⁠ ⁠If a client cancels, the deposit will be forfeited. ⸻ Coverage & Responsibility •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media will make all reasonable efforts to capture key moments but does not guarantee specific shots, individuals, or outcomes. •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media is not liable for missed moments due to venue restrictions, lighting conditions, schedule delays, guest interference, or circumstances outside of control. •⁠ ⁠Creative direction, filming style, and editing decisions remain at the discretion of BYOU Media. ⸻ Weddings – Additional Terms •⁠ ⁠Wedding bookings are date-specific and non-transferable. •⁠ ⁠Clients must provide a run sheet/timeline prior to the event. •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media is not responsible for coverage gaps caused by delays, schedule changes, or lack of coordination. ⸻ Delivery •⁠ ⁠Standard turnaround time is 3–7 business days for events. •⁠ ⁠Wedding delivery timelines may vary depending on scope. ⸻ Usage Rights •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media reserves the right to use all captured content for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. ⸻ Client Conduct •⁠ ⁠Clients and guests must not interfere with filming or direct coverage. •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media reserves the right to stop coverage if working conditions become unsafe or compromised. ⸻ Limitation of Liability •⁠ ⁠In the unlikely event of equipment failure, loss of footage, or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to the amount paid by the client. ⸻ Force Majeure •⁠ ⁠BYOU Media is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond control including weather, illness, venue issues, or emergencies.
